The conference The Europe of Tomorrow: Gender Equality and the Economy will be held on Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 October 2022 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The conference will take place at the Congress Centre in Prague, but you can also attend online via our Facebook event.
If you want to attend in person, please register by email: genderconference@vlada.cz
During the conference you can ask questions via sli.do with #GenderEquality.
The conference, organised by the Office of the government of the Czech Republic and held as a part of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU, is a major event in the gender equality calendar. With a specific focus on economic and social rights, the purpose of the conference is to discuss how to best promote gender equality in the new realities shaped by the yet incomplete recovery from the pandemic, Russian military aggression against Ukraine, rising costs of energy, goods, and services, and climate change.
Taking into account the European Year of Youth 2022, the conference will facilitate dialogue with the young generation and address challenges that young people face today in order to achieve the Union of Equality tomorrow.
The conference will bring together representatives of the Commission, European Parliament, EU member states and candidate countries, EU agencies, non-governmental organisations, social partners, youth organisations, and a number of other key stakeholders.
The conference is hosted by:
Linda Bartošová, journalist
